The New Poly G85-T
- The Poly G85-T Bundle is a Microsoft Teams certified solution that allows you to have video conferences with excellent image quality. The solution has been designed for medium and large conference rooms, classrooms or training rooms. The bundle consists of the Poly GC8 (touch panel), a Lenovo ThinkSmart Edition Tiny (mini PC), and the Poly EagleEye Director II (camera system).
- The Lenovo ThinkSmart Edition Tiny is a mini PC and is the heart of the entire system. It connects to the camera system and the touch panel and comes with Microsoft Teams pre-installed on it. Thanks to the various inputs, The ThinkSmart can be connected to additional speakers and microphones.
- The Poly EagleEye Director II, which is the camera system for the Poly G85-T, consists of two Poly EagleEye IV 12X cameras, each boasting 12x optical zoom, and full HD video experience. It also comes with speaker tracking. which can seamlessly track and focus on active speakers in a room, making sure that they are always in the picture. The second camera of the system in the meantime keeps the entire room in focus, creating a smaller picture-in-picture view of all of the participants.
- The GC8 touch panel is the central control for your meetings and makes it easy for you to operate and manage these. Using the USB cable you can connect the GC8 to the ThinSmart computer, in order to enable content sharing.
The system unfortunately does not come with a microphone, so recommend combining the Poly G85-T with a Poly Trio C60, as this also provides excellent sound and microphone quality for your meetings.
